Sustain City Green's work with a donation today!

Your partnership means that together, we can continue supporting a resilient, community-based food system that works for more people. In this season of giving, we hope you will consider investing in City Green with a donation today.

Since our first farm stand in 2010, thousands of people have experienced the nourishing power of City Green’s Farm and Markets efforts. For fifteen years, we’ve worked to grow the farming operation in order to supply the highest quality produce for the farm stands and veggie mobiles in Paterson, Clifton, Passaic, and Bloomfield. Our purpose was clear…. nurture the local food system by providing our community with opportunities to access and enjoy farm-fresh produce. Today our markets are more abundant than ever, with over 150 varieties of organically grown vegetables offered for 24 weeks, at sites like Paterson Senior Towers, Passaic City Hall and WIC office, Lou Costello Park in Paterson, Evergreen Manor Senior Residence, and the Bloomfield Library.

When you donate to City Green today, your donation is matched, dollar-for-dollar by Partners for Health Foundation.

From farm to table, City Green’s dedicated team members prioritize nutrition security and good food for all, working deeply in our community to cultivate a base of shoppers who deserve nourishing produce, warm service, and greater agency over their food choices. The positive impact of our work is even more evident when you consider that we grow over 150 varieties of vegetables organically from seed, host 8 farm stands a week from June through November, and provide thousands of dollars of produce discounts to the over 50% of City Green’s shoppers who use federal food benefits like SNAP or Farmers Market Vouchers. This means that our local food system is more sustainable, equitable, and works for more people.

Your donation helps us:

  • Harvest over 90,000 pounds of sustainably grown local produce, including almost 150 varieties of vegetables, fruits, and herbs
  • Make hundreds of Veggie Mobile stops at senior centers, service agencies, libraries and city halls
  • Accept and double federal food benefits through our Good Food Buck program for 4,000 market customers
  • Provide thousands of pounds of organically grown produce to local food pantries

Donate to City Green’s year end campaign, Sharing the Harvest, so that we can continue this meaningful work ensuring all families enjoy City Green’s bounty, from farm to table. Thank you for your support!
