The City Green Community Garden Conference will give you the skills needed to cultivate your own urban garden. The conference will showcase local community gardeners and educators in a dynamic program including workshops and hand-on demonstrations.
Join City Green on Saturday May 7th for our 2nd Annual Community Garden Conference, "The Urban Homestead".
From raising backyard chickens to incorporating native plants into your home garden, The Community Garden Conference is sure to inform and delight urban homesteaders of all levels of experience. The conference will showcase local community gardeners and educators in a dynamic program including workshops and hand-on demonstrations. Participating adults can feel free to bring their budding gardeners, ages 5-10, for gardening activities and story time.
Doors open at 9:30am, conference starts at 10am sharp.
Lunch will be served and all guests are encouraged to visit the City Green Plant Sale featuring organically cultivated vegetable plants.
After the conference, stay for the "Ice Cream Social" networking hour.
Tickets are $15 each. Day of Tickets are $18 each.
"Budding Gardeners" Tickets for children ages 5-10 are free with the purchase of an adult ticket, but must be reserved and are limited.
